Elizabethton High School

Off to the usual late start because of football, and still sorting out who would play where, but with a matchup zone that was hard for any team to read. 6-2 senior forward Michael Morrell had become one of the Big Nine's most dangerous scorers, able to face up and hit the three or go off the dribble, with 6-2 senior forward Chris Crawford and 6-7 senior center Jason Witten. Tony Hardin was in his fifth year. 4-3 coming in.
