1983
A hustling team that Mark Mason, in his fourth year, had brought back to respectability. 5-10 senior Bryan Curd, among the Big Nine's best guards, averaged 19.2 points; Brent Carrier (14.4) and Brian Lowe (11.3) on the wings and Sam Johnson (12.8) and Rodney Holden inside. Not big, the Patriots pushed the ball and pressed.
