Reasonably competitive with an inexperienced roster and a new coach, Tony Vaughn, and a double-overtime loss at Elizabethton short of .500. 6-2 junior forward Josh Crain led a balanced attack at 11.4 points, with 22 in an overtime win over Cherokee, and had scored at least 17 in every win; 6-0 senior guard Matt Clemson and 6-4 junior center Gabe Van Noy were the others. 3-5 coming in.
